Lynn R Schwartz

Lynn R. Schwartz, 73 of New Bloomington passed away early Saturday at Marion General Hospital. Lynn was born April 21, 1943 in Marion to the late John R. and Clara (Felton) Schwartz. He was married Dec. 31, 1963 to Patricia (Hensley) Schwartz who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Gary Schwartz as well as sister in law Dana Schuler.

Lynn is also survived by children Rieann (Corey) Lukkarila of Marion; Riena (John) Akers, New Bloomington; and Angela (Karl) Ferdinand, Marion; grandchildren Zachary (Emily) Lukkarila, Delaware, Hayden Schwartz, Marion; Kaiden Lukkarila, Delaware; Carolina Lukkarila, Marion; Seth Akers and Ava Akers both of New Bloomington; 2 great grandchildren Alex Brown and Zoey Lukkarila both of Delaware; brother Larry Schwartz, Marion; brother in law David W. Schuler, Marion; and special nephews Dan Schuler of Waldo and David G. (Heather Hart) Schuler of Blacklick along with their son Owen. Lynn retired in 1997 from Fairfield Engineering in Marion after working over 30 years. He lived his entire life in Marion and attended Marion Harding H.S.

Lynn was always there for his family and loved them first and foremost. He enjoyed being outdoors on his golf cart, mowing, riding his many motorcycles and driving his prized possession: his 1987 Buick Grand National.

At Lynn’s request there will be no formal calling hours or funeral. The family suggests memorials be made to the Humane Society or Heartland Hospice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.cremationservicesofohio.com
