Lyle J Murphy

Lyle Jerome Murphy age 84 of Marion, died at his residence on July 23, 2021. He was born on Sept. 30, 1936 in Jamestown, NY to the late Lyle Dever and Esther Naomi (Olson) Murphy. He married Faye Ackers on Mar. 30, 1955, she survives along with their children Greg (Patricia) Murphy, Robin (Mark) Snow and Michele (Matt) Killion, grandchildren Christoper Murphy, Jennifer Van Broekhuizen, Heather Law, Stephanie Eager, Angela Snow, Natalie Snow, Lauren Snow, Emily Killion, Nicholas Killion, 7 great grandchildren and a brother Robert Murphy. He is preceded in death by brothers Richard Murphy and Sherwood Murphy, sisters Eulah Collins, Beatrice Dexter, Alice Holdridge, Cloney Reece, Elaine Bird and Lola Parker.

Mr. Murphy attended Dayspring Wesleyan Church.

He was mold setter at Whirlpool for 43 years.

His enjoyments were fishing, hunting, bicycling, painting, camping, NASCA, his dog Hanna, OSU football, he loved cars and belonged to a scooter club.
