Lloyd Joseph Snyder

Lloyd J. "Joe" Snyder, 80 of Harpster passed away on Saturday March 4, 2023 at home. Joe was born June 23, 1942 in Ostrander, OH to the late Ralph and Edith Jane (Herriott) Snyder. He was married April 2, 1961 to Barbara (Fix) Snyder who preceded him in death on December 15, 2022. He was also preceded in death by brother Earl and brother-in-law Carl Wolfe.

Joe is survived by children Teresa (Jeff) Brown of Forest, OH; Tina Nicolosi of Marion; and Franklin (Ronda) Snyder of Prospect; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brother Edward Snyder and sister Bunty Wolfe both of Ostrander, OH.

Joe graduated from Pleasant High School in 1960 and retired from Whirlpool in 2008 after working 38 years. Joe was an avid hunter and enjoyed bowling in leagues several years ago. Joe and his family camped with the Whirlpool Weekend Wonderer's Camping Club. He especially liked watching Bob Villa's home improvement shows as well as Hee Haw with Buck Owens and Roy Clark. Most important to Joe was helping out his family.

At Joe's request there will be no formal services. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
