Lloyd Grant Collins age 73 of Marion passed away Sat. September 28, 2019 at Marion General Hospital. He was born April 4, 1946 in Marion to the late Buster & Lola (Conley) Collins. He married Earlette Stewart on January 11, 1968 and she survives in Marion.
Mr. Collins is survived by a son Tim (Lynn) Collins, Morral, a daughter Karletta Butterman, Marion, 6 grandchildren Lyle (Erin) Collins, Megan Collins, Cieria (Tony) Burgett, Joshua Butterman, Kevin Johnson II, Kerissa (Brock) Garver, 3 great grandchildren Halyn Collins, Kyliee Garver Nataliee Garver, a brother Clint, and sisters Alta, Jean, Arlene, Barbara, and Brenda. He was preceded in death by a brother Alfred and sister Eulah.
He was employed at Central Soya in the maintenance department. He was a life member of the VFW and American Legion. He enjoyed collecting antiques, working and restoring old cars, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
A Graveside will be held on October 11, 2019 at 1 PM at Grand Prairie Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Livingston officiating. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio was entrusted to serve the Collins family. Visit www.cremationservicesofohio.com to send a condolence or share a story.
