Lisa Sue Hamm

Lisa Sue Hamm, 49 of Marion passed away on Saturday November 23, 2024, at Marion General Hospital. Lisa was born December 13, 1974, in Marion, Ohio to the late David Gay and Paula Swafford. She was married June 12, 2021, to Alan Hamm who survives. Lisa is also survived by daughters Lindsay Gay Cobb of Marion and Ashley Gay Cobb of Texas; granddaughter Jaela Davis; brothers Amos, Eric, and Billy; as well as sisters Debbie and Barb; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Kenny.

Lisa graduated from Elgin High School and received her bachelor’s degree from O.S.U. and her Master’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati. She worked as a Pre-School Teacher for over 20 years and served as a Corrections Officer for 5 years.
