Larry J." Pick" Williams

Larry J. “Pick” Williams, age 74, passed away unexpectedly January 14th 2016 at Riverside Hospital. Pick was born Oct 5, 1941 to the late Omer and Helen (Gingery) Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Don Williams, sister Wanda Sandlin, and grandson Tyler Williams.

Pick was survived by wife, of 37 years, Kathy (Carroll) Williams; daughters, Wanda J. Williams and Jeanie L. (David) Kuhlen; sons, Jeffery S. Williams and Larry W. Williams; brothers, Bill (Millie) Williams, Phil (Janet) Williams, Dick (Pam) Williams, Mark (Sandy) Williams, “Bud” (April) Williams; sisters, Emma Jean Jackson and Linda Bilger; grandchildren, Mike Culp, Sammy Williams, and Kayden Kuhlen; great-grandaughter, Abbie Culp, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pick was a fulltime worker with Sims Brothers for 20 years. He worked with New Vision Fire and Rescue as a volunteer and retired from there. He also enjoyed spending time with family and going on fishing trips. A memorial service is taking place at 11am Saturday, January 23 2016, in the Marion Enterprise Baptist Church, 130 Orton Street, Marion Ohio. Officiating will be family member Cory Carroll.
