Larry Allen Meadows

Larry Allen Meadows, 65 of Marion passed away on Saturday March 25, 2017. Larry was born August 30, 1951 in Marion to the late Brady Allen and Viola Louise (Pine) Meadows. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Danny Brooks and Randall Dean Meadows as well as one sister Mona Riefsnyder.
Larry is survived by daughter Tracey Ann Gullett of Morral; son James Allen Meadows of Marion; grandchildren Jennifer Page Gullett, Brett Austin Gullett, and Lacey Marie Sheldon; great grandchild Paityn Aubree Howard; brother Tommy Ray (Mary Denman) Meadows of New Bloomington; and sister Christine Armstrong of Marion.
Larry last worked at Marion Power Shovel. He lived his entire life in Marion County and attended Harding High School. Larry was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam from September 30, 1969 until July 26, 1971. He received the Army Commendation Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1 OS Bar, and was expert M-16.
He enjoyed drag racing, his motorcycle, and most of all his grandchildren.
There are no formal services planned at this time and Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
