Kevin L. Ballard, age 55, of Marion, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 31st at 4:45am at
Marion General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Kevin was born on July 24th, 1966 in Marion, Ohio to Sierra Ballard. Kevin lived with and loved
his life with “Miss Amy” Daly for the past 11 ½ years.
For those who knew Kevin, he was someone who had a passion for music and spent most of his
days listening to and playing it. He was a self taught musician. He played many shows and was
in many bands. It was his passion. He also enjoyed family dinners. He always said it was for “the
misfits” and invited anyone who just didn’t have family or anywhere else to go. Another hobby
he enjoyed was his photography. Kevin was always seen with his camera out, especially on his
bike rides.
Kevin was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He would spend Sundays there
worshipping and playing in the church band. Kevin’s faith was important to him and something
he used as a backbone through many obstacles in life.
Kevin is survived by his mother Sierra Ballard. His Sibling Korene Potter. His children Thomas
(Jessica) Ballard, Danielle (Jacob) Smith, Jacob-Chase Ballard, Brandon Golden, Samanitha
(Joshua)Akers, Hannah (Macie) Easterday, and Erin (Jacob) Bollack. His grandchildren Gavin,
