Kerry Lynn Martin

Kerry Lynn Martin, 76 of Marion passed away peacefully Wednesday May 8, 2024 at Presidential Acute Care following a brief illness with pancreatic cancer. Kerry was born September 3, 1947 in Mansfield, OH to the late Joseph Herman Scott and Geraldine Irene (McKee) Scott. She was also preceded in death by longtime companion Tommy Hunt. Kerry is survived by Tommy’s children, Todd (Melissa Fitch) Hunt of Marion and Troy (Debby) Hunt of Prospect; their children Kayla (Tommy) Salmons, Jacob (Katie) Hunt, Brooke (Jon) Sutherin, Hayden Hunt, Spencer Hunt, Autumn Hunt and Maddox Hunt as well as many friends new and old.
Kerry graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1965. She last worked at the Marion Area Counseling Center and had worked in Medical Records for 20 years and as a hairdresser. Kerry enjoyed raising, breeding, and racing quarter horses.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday May 18 at 10:00 am in Grand Prairie Cemetery which is open to the public, with Pastor Don Alexander officiating. The family suggests that memorials contributions be made to Tranquility Hospice or the Marion Humane Society in Kerry’s memory.
