June Hale Adams

June Hale Adams, 84, of Marion passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 peacefully. She was born June 9, 1931 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Wesley Hale and Frona Borders. In 1947 she married Ossie Adams who preceded her in death in March of 2011. She moved to Marion in 1963 where she worked for the Marion Country Club for 17 years.
She is survived by her children, Brenda (Rick) Surber of Findlay, Ohio, Garland (Susan) Adam of Marion, Ohio, Ruie (Richard) Ferriman of Marion, Ohio, and Carma (Gary) Armstrong of New Bloomington, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; and her sisters, Josephine Borders and Francis Adams. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and 1 grandchild (Ricky Young).
She loved working and taking care of her yard and tending to the flowers. She enjoyed having the grandchildren visiting her and she loved her little dogs.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio, 1701 Marion-Williamsport Rd. is assisting the family locally.
