Judith Ann Mascol 1941-2021
Judith Ann Mascol, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Westbrook Assisted Living & Memory Care on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Born in Cleveland, OH, she was the loving daughter of and preceded by Alfred and Helen Hejduk. Judy graduated from high school and attended some college with a nursing career in mind since she loved to help people. Her journey changed and she became the best mother and housewife one could ask for as she was lucky to have found love twice in her life and remained friends with and was preceded by Robert B. Lade and William J. Mascol Jr.
Judy loved being with family! You would always find her hosting pool parties, clam bakes or good ol’ fashioned family get togethers. She loved taking her grandchildren in for spring break vacations and taking them to the family favorite-Geauga Lake, Niagara Falls and many trips to the Parmatown Mall followed by dinner at Antonio’s.
Judy also loved to visit the ocean and had seen it many times in Florida, Myrtle Beach, and the Bahamas. She loved to collect porcelain dolls that were displayed so neatly in glass cases in her living room as well as “Gone with the Wind” memorabilia. Some of Judy’s pastime favorites were riding in antique cars, watching Lifetime movies, gardening, reading, and talking to family. She was the kindest person and will be remembered for her heart that was as big as the world as she always put everyone else before herself.
Judy is survived by her brothers Robert (Gail) Hejduk, William (Jennifer) Hejduk and Charles (Barbara Jean) Hejduk, her sister Debra (Ray) Daniels, children Allen (Robin) Lade, Kimberly (Danny) Robinson, Sandra (preceded by Barney) Fox, Karen (Tim) Scanlon and Jennifer Trotter, grandchildren Brittany Lade, Jordyn Trotter, Katrina (Scott) Huy, Preceded by Joseph Scott, Corey (Molly) Hinninger, Wendy Lade, Sarah Charavell, Brandon Fox, Jakob Fox, Brady Fox, Sahvannah Fox and great grandchildren Mazzie & Jayce Huy; Landon, Mallory, Abigail, Maxwell & Remington Hinninger; Destin and Sapphire Smith, Ivy Howard
