Joyce Ann Summers

Joyce Ann Summers, age 72 of Marion, Ohio passed away August 26, 2022, at her home in Marion. She was born June 8, 1950, to the late Vernon Blair and Lucille Arthur in Ironton, Ohio.
Joyce is survived by 2 sons: Bobby (Robin) Russell of Caledonia, and Cory Summers of Marion, 1 daughter Chrissy (Tad) Robinson from Marion, 3 grandchildren: Austin Russell, Jaycee Summers, and Karlee Summers, and 2 great grandchildren: Nolan Russell, and Ayra Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Glenn, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Joyce worked as a Laborer at Todco for 33 years. She was an active member of the Lighthouse of Prayer Church and helped run the food pantry there. Joyce was an Ohio State fan, enjoyed shopping, and loved spending time with and taking care of her family. Two ways she showed her love was baking pumpkin bread and making Christmas candy. Joyce always shared her time and talents with others. She will be greatly missed.
Memorial contributions can be made in Joyce’s honor to Tranquility Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held September 17, 2022, from 3-6 pm at Lighthouse of Prayer Church, 788 N Main St. Marion, Ohio 43302. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio was honored to make arrangements for Joyce’s family.
