Josephine M McCombs

Josephine M. “Jo” McCombs, 83 of Marion passed away on Friday September 30, 2016 at Marion General Hospital. Jo was born November 29, 1932 in Canandaigua, NY to the late Marshall and Alice Elizabeth (McKinney) Lundy. She was married March 31, 1951 to John Douglas McCombs who preceded her in death on April 11, 1995. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 7 sisters.
Jo is survived by children John David McCombs of Winterhaven, FL; Douglas McCombs of Lakeland, FL; Dale McCombs of Syracuse, IN; Darwin McCombs of Tioga Junction, PA; Dennis McCombs of New York; Dianne McCombs of Cincinnati; Danny McCombs of Lakeland, FL; and Donna Smith of Marion; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as one sister.
Jo lived in Marion for the past 13 years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed keeping busy doing arts and crafts, sewing, knitting, and puzzles.
Burial of her cremains will take place with her husband in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell Florida. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements locally.
