John Paul Woodward

John Paul Woodward, 77 of Marion passed away on Sunday May 31, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. John was born August 29, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN to the late John Charles and Bernice (Heath) Woodward and was raised by his late step mother Berneice (Smith) Woodward. He was also preceded in death by his former wife who he married October 4, 1964, Janice (Barnett) Woodward passed on April 3, 2015. Additionally he was preceded in death by daughters Cathy Woodward and Angel Bradshaw as well as one brother Philip Woodward.

John is survived by daughters Nina (Juanita) Bradshaw of Larue, OH and Tammy Thomas of Columbus; grandchildren Amber, Savannah, Holly, Hannah, Dylan, and Lauren; great grandchildren Erica, Emily, Kayley, Kylee, T.J., Kammrie, Elexis, and Aubrey; brother Joe Woodward of Florida; and sisters Hope Woodward of Marion, Joy Hostetler of TN, and Faith Troyer of Kansas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

John last worked at Tecumseh in Marion for 10 years and lived most of his life in Marion. John lived for raising his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a big fan of Elvis Presley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date and memorials in John's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.cremationservicesofohio.com
