John Garver Sperry

John Garver Sperry, age 72 of Kenton, OH passed away December 27, 2023, at home. He was born June 8, 1951, to the late Mellville Sperry and Coreta Horn in Kenton. John was married July 6, 1995, to Ellonda Hammond who still survives in Kenton.
John is survived by his wife, son Matthew John (Amy Armstrong) Sperry of Marseilles, daughter Danielle Bordnax of Columbus, niece Kimberly Sperry, nephew Timothy Sperry, brother-in-law Steve (Debbie) Caldwell, grandson Lucas Bordnax of Kenton, and brother Jeff (Johanna Drake) Sperry of Delaware. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sandra Sperry, and brothers: James D Sperry and Jerry C Sperry.
John was a high school graduate and earned his Associate degree at Grand Valley State Junior College. He worked for, then retired from Honda Corporation. John was a Free Mason; he loved being outdoors gardening, fishing, hunting, and feeding his fish in the pond. He was proud to be an American and loved spending time with family, friends, and his dogs. John was a loving, caring man who could tell some great stories. He will be dearly missed.
