John P Ross

John P Ross, age 64 of Marion, OH went to his heavenly home April 2, 2023. He was born Nov. 3, 1958, to the late Benjamin J Ross and Donna M Lilly in Marion.
John is survived by his wife Vickie Hill Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Larry E Ross.
John graduated from Hardin High School and worked for The Dugan’s Men’s Clothing Store, The Ulman Department Store as Dept. Manager, Boyd Funeral Home in Marion as well as being a burial plot sales rep. for Funeral Homes in the Toledo area and was Manager of Circus World Toy Store (later transferred to Sandusky, OH). He and his wife lived in Tiffin, OH for 25 years, then moved back to Marion. John loved Gospel music his whole life and traveled as far as Missouri to see his friends play. He was ordained as a Pastor in 2009, and later earned a Doctorate in Theology.
John was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, a supporter of the American Legion, and volunteered at the Palace Theater. He enjoyed camping at Hickory Grove and loved spending time with the love of his life and his dogs (Beau, Bam-Bam, PeeWee, Jake, Luke, Eddie, Cooper, and Bruno).
