John Carroll Roebuck

John Carroll Roebuck, 76 of Marion passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019 in the Presidential Care Center. He was born on October 1, 1942 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late John C. Roebuck Sr. and Erma Mae (Hall) Roebuck. On November 23, 1966, he married Willie Mae (Smith) Roebuck who preceded him in death on June 18, 2015.
Surviving are his children, Alicia Roebuck of Marion and Dwight (Loretta) Smith of Warner Robins Georgia, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his children, Angela K. Roebuck and Shannon T. Roebuck as well as two sisters, Nellie Roebuck and Claudia Mae Overton.
John retired from the Smith Clinic in Marion and for many years had a shoe repair business in Marion where he truly enjoyed working on and repairing shoes. He loved to go to church where he could worship the Lord and spent many hours speaking to others about Jesus.
Memorial Services will be held will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in John’s memory to Affordable Cremation & Funeral Services of Ohio.
