John H. Lehman, 75 of La Rue passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at home. John was born February 27, 1941 in Marion to the late Harvey F. and Katherine Virginia (Forry) Lehman.
John is survived by children Judith Joy Edwards of Connecticut and Josh Lehman of Virginia; grandchildren Madison and Gavin; brothers James F. Lehman of West Mansfield; Joseph F. (Cathy) Lehman of Marion; Jay D. (Linda) Lehman of Marion; sisters Jayne Ann Mandeville, Oklahoma; Judith (Jack) Titus of Green Camp; and Jackie (John) Thornberry of New Bloomington; numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces Krista and J.J..
John graduated from New Bloomington High School in 1959. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post #162 in Marion. He was a very big Ohio State Buckeye Fan.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday January 7, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Dry Lane Construction, 376 Dry Lane Rd., La Rue. The family suggests that memorials be made in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society through Affordable Cremations Services of Ohio, 1701 Marion Williamsport Rd., Marion.
