He was born on November 21, 1951 in Niles, Michigan to the late Virgil Howell and Mamie (Ellis) Howell. Also surviving are; brother Eugene (Elaine) Howell of Kenton; and sister Jerry Arn also of Kenton.
He is survived by partner Phyllis (Moore) Howell; son James, his wife DJ and their two sons Lincoln and Truman; Daughter Amy McCullough, and her daughters Ashton and Aislinn; Daughter Niki Shelby, and her daughters Brittney and Kiersten; Daughter Jackie Snyder, and her children Caitlyn, Emiy, Lauren, and Evan; Daughter Tabbi Williams, and her sons Caleb and Noah; Daughter Christa Howell, and daughter Millie.
