JoEllen Neal

JoEllen (Jenison) Neal, age 84 of Marion Ohio, died at Marion General Hospital on January29, 2022. She was born October 14th 1937 in Vineland New Jersey to Donald and Ruth (Godfrey) Jenison. JoEllen was the youngest of five children. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Donald, Paul, Virginia and David. Also preceded in death by two of her six children Kathleen, and Frederick. JoEllen is survived by her four children Barbara, George, Carolyn, Kelly and five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
JoEllen was tenacious in all aspects. Her career began with waitressing but expanded to include cashier, making screws at Standard Press Steel, and an optometrist assistant. She was a talented cosmetologist for many years before achieving her associate degree in industrial engineering and worked for the Department of Army civil service at Fort Irwin in California.
JoEllen was a gifted artist and enjoyed oil painting, ceramics, sewing and quilting. She was always making something; always off to her new project.
