Jerry L Smith

Jerry L Smith, age 73 of Prospect, OH passed away February 26, 2025, at his home. He was born May 9, 1951, to the late Milton B and Hazel F (Wilt) Smith.

Jerry is survived by daughter Tracy (Terry Watson) Pericht and her children with Christopher: Andrew, William, and Jack Pericht of Tennessee. Also surviving is his brother Robert (Margaret) Smith of Waldo. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry attended River Valley High School and worked for Whirlpool in Marion. He was an avid outdoorsman with a golden retriever always at his side; hunting, camping, and fishing on many trips to MI, TN, and Canada. He enjoyed reading, bird watching, telling stories, finding funny birthday cards, and loved being "Grandpa.”
