Jeremiah A Scoville

February 12, 1977 — August 16, 2024

Richwood

Jeremiah Andrew Scoville, 47, of Richwood, died on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Grant Medical Center surrounded by his family. As a believer, we rest assured that he joins our Lord and many loved ones in Heaven - where there is no suffering.

Jeremiah was born in Danvers, Massachusetts to Stan and Holly Scoville of Friendship, New York, who survive along with his 3 sisters of whom he was quite proud - Hannah Scoville of Orlando, Florida, Leah (Bob) Clark of Olean, New York, and Naomi Scoville of Long Island, New York. He was incredibly excited to welcome a niece who is due in November. Jeremiah was loved dearly by his mother-in-law, Linda Dean, sister- and brother-in-law, Michelle and Ben Taylor, niece, Morgan Taylor, and former wife, Melissa Scoville. He is also survived by many family and friends, including Jeff Anderson, who never stopped encouraging Jeremiah.

Jeremiah started his college career at the Rochester Institute of Technology, but changed his path to pursue his true interest - wrenching! Jeremiah was a self-proclaimed grease monkey. He loved to get his hands dirty and work on anything, but mostly cars. He could diagnose and fix nearly any issue, and there were times when he would fabricate a fix, including the time he adapted a car to be driven by hand because of a broken leg. Jeremiah enjoyed drawing, artwork, and photography.

He joins a crowd of loved ones in Heaven - his grandparents, his infant brother, Seth, his father-in-law, Mark Lasley, and many more. His eternal life is to be celebrated!
