James Robert Murfield

James "Jim" Murfield, 66, beloved father and brother, went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2021. He was born in Delaware, Ohio to the late George and Catherine "Kate" Murfield.

Jim is survived by his son Daniel and wife Athena, and Daughter Stacey who he loved with everything in him, and never missed an opportunity to let the world know how proud he was of them. Brother Patrick "Pat" and wife Tammy, and Sister-in-law Melody. 4 Nieces and 4 Nephews, and "extra" children that were his children's friends that he treated like his own. All of whom he loved dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father, and mother, as well as his Brother William "Bill" Murfield, and sisters Mary Walker (Murfield) and Elizabeth "Betty" Murfield.

Jim was truly one of a kind. He loved to laugh, tell groan worthy jokes, share stories of his mischievous youth, spend time with his friends and family, and never missed an Ohio State or Cleveland Browns football game.

He was a deeply devoted family man, and his children meant the world to him. He was their biggest cheerleader in everything they did, and supported and loved them unconditionally.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, October 27th at Dayspring Wesleyan Church in Marion, Ohio at 12:00pm. Visitation preceding from 10:00am-12:00pm.
