James Luther Harris

James Luther Harris, 59, passed away at Marion General Hospital January 16th, 2025. James was born to the late James Will Harris and Dorothy Lee (Carwyle) Harris February 23rd, 1965, in Knoxville Tennessee. James is preceded in death by his parents and brother Harvey Harris.

James is survived by sisters Reta (Carl Bowers) Curl and Sharon (Abie) Prater, as well as several nieces and nephews.

James enjoyed a pretty simple living lifestyle, he would attend country concerts when he could and loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes anytime they played and collecting their memorabilia. He always kept up on his lawn work, and was handy around his house.

There will be no services per the families request. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Moments of remembrance may be left online.
