Hazel F. Bell, age 85 of Caledonia died Fri. Mar. 30, 2018 at Marion Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 15, 1932 in Kansas City, KS to the late Silas & Nellie (Showalter) Horst.
She married John E. Bell on Dec. 25, 1955, and he survives in Caledonia. Mrs. Bell is also survived by a son Robert (Carmen) Bell, Prospect, a granddaughter Amber (Tim) White, Powell, two brothers Ray (Violet) Horst, VA, and Allen (Viola) Horst, IN. She was preceded in death by a brother.
Mrs. Bell was a member of MVA Church of Christ, Marion. She was a homemaker, and took care of children in her home. She enjoyed writing short stories.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM Tue. Apr. 3, 2018 in the Mount Vernon Avenue (MVA) Church of Christ with Minister Jeff Bush officiating. Visitation will be held Tue.
