Harry D. Helms age 66 of Marion, died at Marion General Hospital on Wed. Oct. 25, 2017. On Dec. 24, 1950 he was born in Marion to the late Harrison Q. and Katherine S. (Huntsman) Helms. He is survived by his long time companion Diana Holcomb, sons Harry Helms II, Daniel Helms, and Jesse Helms all of Mt. Gilead, Brandon Holcomb and Paul Holcomb, daughters Donna Carroll and April, numerous grandchildren, siblings George Helms, IA,
Karen Powell, KS, Loren Helms, LaRue, Franklin Helms, Prospect and Charles David Helms, IL. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
In 1970 he graduated from Marion Harding High School. Mr. Helms worked in construction. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
