Harold C (Bud) Malloy

Harold C. “Bud” Malloy age 84, of Marion died peacefully at his residence on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 7:00pm. On Dec. 5, 1930 he was born to the late John and Noami (Salyers) Malloy. He had been married to Evelyn Grooms for 35 years and she preceded him in death in 2003.
Mr. Malloy is survived by 3 daughters Carol (Mike) Corder, Newark, Malinda (Brian) Butler, Marion, Cindy Mallory, Newark, 11 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and a brother Eugene Malloy of Newark. He is preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Zahner.
Mr. Malloy retired from Carpenter's Mill Right Union. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War. Mr. Malloy attended Grace Brethren Church, Marion. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW, Newark. For hobbies he enjoyed fishing and gardening.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice of Marion, 278 Barks Rd. W. Marion, OH 43302. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio was entrusted with the arrangements.
