Gary Lee Thacker age 64, of Marion, died on June 1, 2019 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born on August 14, 1954 to the late Hollis and Doris (Davis) Thacker. He is survived by his daughters Rachel Thacker and Heidi Thacker, son Shawn Thacker, 9 grandchildren Tristen & Alexis Hoskins, Billy Pinnick IV, Justice Sarver, Colton, Rylee & Jaxon Thacker, Colton Neal and Taylor Blair, brother Daniel Thacker and sisters Beverly Faulkner & Barbara Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents and several of his friends.
Gary enjoyed golfing, fishing and attending concerts. He was and avid Browns and Ohio State football fan and a supporter of Donald Trump. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was known to be the life of the party and a prankster.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday June 17, 2019 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the VFW #7201 1614 Marion Marysville Rd. Marion, OH 43302.
