He was married Dec. 14, 1974 to Phyllis Eileen (Bell) Barrick who preceded him in death. He is also survived locally by daughter Elizabeth Eileen (Barrick) Scheirer and granddaughter Tasha Marie Keethler.
Fred was last employed as Manager of a Gas Service Station. He had also been involved in Social Work and Law Enforcement in the Cleveland area. He was a U.S. Veteran of the Air Force.
