Faye S Hamrick

Faye S Cook Hamrick, age 96 passed away April 14, 2023, at Primrose Retirement Community in Marion, OH. She was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Harmony, WV to the late Joseph and Myrtle Shouldis.
Faye was most fulfilled in her role as a homemaker. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family as well as her generous and loving nature.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Carl Cook and Howard Hamrick; stepson John Hamrick; 1 grandson; 2 great-grandsons; sister Erlene Hamrick; and daughter and son-in-law Susan Cook and Gary Lowry.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Robert Cook and Evelyn Lowry; stepchildren Lois Gracey and Howard “Scooter” Hamrick; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great- grandchildren; and many friends.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Faye’s life will be held April 27, 2023, at 6:00 pm at Primrose Retirement Community, Marion, OH with Pastor Steven Anderson officiating. Interment will take place at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
