Elizabeth Blanton

Elizabeth May Blanton, 68 of Marion was welcomed into heaven on Saturday February 6, 2021. Elizabeth was born March 8, 1952 in Marion to the late Corbett and Norsie (Conley) Blanton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchild Jason Rayburn, great grandchild Hayden Michael Rayburn, and brother and sister in law Jimmie and Alice Blanton.

Elizabeth is survived by children Jennifer Rosebrough of New Bloomington, Michael Rayburn Jr. of New Bloomington, and Jason (Judy) Rayburn of Marion; grandchildren Jordan, Haley, Stephen, Boston, and Cooper; step-grandchildren Holden, Hayden, and Hunter; great grandchildren Jaxon and Koltyn; siblings Betty (Chuck) Higgins of Marion, Linda (James) Elswick of New Bloomington, Jerry (Sandra) Blanton of Richwood, Jeff (Dee) Blanton of Marion, and Mary (Daniel) Weaver of Marion; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles in her spare time and treasured putting puzzles together with her grandchildren.

Elizabeth had worked at Marion Manor for 18 years and was a homemaker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at New Bloomington United Methodist Church 390 S.Main St. on Sat. Feb. 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.with Pastor Kathy Herr officiating. Affordable Cremation and Funeral Services of Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
