Elaine C. White age 81, of Marion, died at her residence on May 19, 2019.
She was born on July 7, 1937 to the late William and Mary (Onfier) Harford. She married Clarence White on March 26, 1993 and he survives in Marion. She is also survived by her children Raymond Joseph (Lori) Gordon, Grace Irene (Chris Oney) Larkin and Bonnie Jean McMurry, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband Paul Raymond Gordon, second husband William Johnson, son John Michael Gordon, daughter Mary Katherine Fulton, brother Sherman David Harford, sisters Helen Rita Coy and Dorothy May Harford.
Elaine was a graduate from Rushsylvania High School. She also earned a nursing degree and received her pharmaceutical license from Marion Technical College. She retired from East Lawn Manor where she had been an LPN charge nurse for several years. Elaine was an avid animal lover who often rescued animals and cared for them. She also enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, collecting bears and attending autism meetings to educate herself. Elaine loved shopping especially for clothes, shoes and purses.
A Memorial Services will be held on July 7, 2019 at Riverbend Campgrounds 1092 Whetstone River Rd. South Calondonia, OH 43314 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
