Douglas L. Murphy

Douglas L. Murphy age 58, of Marion, died Monday July 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1960 to the late Lowell and Jacqueline (Constable) Murphy. He married Diana Price on November 28, 1997 and she survives in Marion.
Mr. Murphy is survived by his children Martin Britton, Josh Britton, Stacey Correa, Jessica Towes, Shawn Murphy and Megan Cyrus and 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Lynn (Gary) Gruber, Thomas (Shelly Dunnan) Murphy and Dale (Amy) Murphy.
Douglas was a 1978 graduate of Elgin High School and retired as a machine operator from J-Lenco in Larue. He attended the First Apostolic Church of Marion and loved his church family.
For hobbies he enjoyed driving, draft horses and collecting salt and pepper shakers. Douglas loved John Deere tractors. He was proud of the house he built with his wife. He will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor.
A family and friend gathering will be held Sun. July 22, 2018 from 3-6:00 p.m. at Green Camp Township Complex 2784 Prospect Upper Sandusky Rd. Marion, OH 43322.
