Donnie Ray Canterbury

Donnie Ray Canterbury, 42 of Marion passed away on Sunday July 14, 2019 at Marion General Hospital, his death was unexpected. Donnie was born March 9, 1977 in Marion to Donnie Ray Canterbury of Marion and Margaret (Snare) Canterbury also of Marion. He is survived by the love of his life Luella Blanton; children Donnie R. Canterbury II, Chevy R. Canterbury, and Madison Renee Canterbury all of Marion; grandchildren Karlie, Payton, La’Naeah, Remington, and Leah; twin brother Danny and sisters Rebecca and April Canterbury; as well as numerous aunts and uncles.




Donnie was a graduate of Marion Harding H.S. in 1996 and was an auto mechanic. He loved cars and working on Camero’s and his beloved “66” Chevy Nova Deuce. He enjoyed taking walks, was artistic and creative, loved working on cars, and was very strong.




A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday July 27 beginning at 12:00 noon in Sawyer Park, White Oaks Road, Marion, with all family and friends invited to attend.
