Donald W. "Bevo" Sisson

Donald W. “Bevo” Sisson age 78 of Marion, died on Thursday March 1, 2018 at 10:53am in Brookdale Sterling House of Marion. He was born on April 10, 1939 in Delaware, OH to Clarence and Helen (Congrove) Sisson. He married Marjorie Sparks and they divorced. Mr. Sisson married Wanda Newhouse and she preceded him in death.
Mr. Sisson is survived by a son Mike (Wendy) Sisson of Prospect, daughter Elizabeth “Sue” (Dick) Ewing of Waldo, grandchildren Cory Acker, Josh Acker, Jessica Sisson, great grandchildren Hayligh Acker, Caleb & Bentley Sisson, Thomas & Charma Popovich, step daughter Lisa (Mike) Workman of Ostrander, step grandchildren Heather Workman, Scott (Christie) Fryman, Jennifer Fryman Sheppard, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents four brothers and one sister.
Mr. Sisson graduated from Radnor High School. He was a laborer at PPG and then became a supervisor for transportation. For hobbies he enjoyed eating out, traveling, boating on Indian Lake and dancing with his wife Wanda.
A private graveside service will be held Monday March 5, 2018 at 5:30pm at Radnor Cemetery in Radnor. Affordable Cremation Services was entrusted with the arrangements. A special thank you to Brookdale Sterling House Staff and Capital City Hospice for taking great care of Don.
