Donald W. Lee Jr., age 50, passed away unexpectedly at Marion General Hospital, March 8, 2024. Donald was born to Donald W. Lee Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Meade) Nelson April 3, 1973, in Mansfield Ohio. Donald is preceded in death by his father and brother Robert Lee and wife. Donald is survived by mother Elizabeth Nelson; brother, John David Lee; niece and nephew he helped raise as step children, Payton Lee and Eli David Lee; as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Donald was a graduate of Harding High School in Marion. For many years he helped take care of his wife and other families’ members. He loved spending time with friends and family any chance he got. He collected anything Dolly Parton related. He had actually gotten to meet her on one of their visits to Dolly World. He will be deeply missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life service Thursday March 21, 2024, at 6 pm at the IPCC, 775 Fountain St. Marion, OH. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.cremationservicesofohio.com .
