Donald Ray Gattshall

Donald Ray Gattshall, 48 of Marion passed away on Thursday December 24, 2015 at his home. Donald was born June 6, 1967 in Marion to the late Lewis Milton Gattshall Jr. and Juanita Mae (Frost) Gattshall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one ½ sister Sharon Layne.
Donald was married January 10, 2002 to Susan M. Brown who survives. Donald is also survived by three daughters, Kayla Gattshall, Quincy, OH; Dawn (Buddy) Bojaciuk of Marion; Trisha Gattshall of Marion; five grandchildren, Jakhi, Zakaya, Tizeria, Cartier Gattshall and Lorelai Bojaciuk; one sister; two brothers, Mike (Sharon) Gattshall of Caledonia and Kevin (Robin) Gattshall of Marion; uncles, Harold “Shorty” (Helen) Gattshall, Marion; Jim (Pat) Gattshall, Marion; Charles Frost, Mt. Gilead; and Raymond Frost of Columbus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday January 5th, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 135 Fairview St., Marion Ohio with Pastor Ron Douglas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until the time of service.
The family request that to help defray final expenses, contributions be made directly to Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio, 1701 Marion Williamsport Rd., Marion, 43302. Any additional contributions will be distributed to the Marion Area Counseling Center and the Foundations Recovery Center.
