Dewey E Hall

Dewey E. Hall age 82, of Marion died on October 15, 2016 at 7:57am at his residence. He was born March 12, 1934 in Hurley, VA to Johnny and Sarah (Mullins) Hall. He married Janice (Farris) Hall on January 29, 1963 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. and she survives in Marion.

Mr. Hall was a blessed father of 5 children Kathy Sandy, Roger (Annette) Dailey, William Dailey, Rita (Nathan) Large, Dewey (Becky) Hall II all of Marion, treasured by his 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Mr. Hall also had 3 surviving brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Joe, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Mr. Hall was a 27year member of Marion Enterprise Baptist Church. He retired from Quaker Oats in March of 1990. Mr. Hall was an Army Veteran of the United States. He enjoyed playing softball and coaching for Marion youth softball leagues.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday October 20, 2016 at 4:00pm in Marion Enterprise Baptist Church with Pastors James McIntire and Paul McKenzie officiating.
