Dennis Ray Sargent Sr.

Dennis Ray Sargent Sr. age 67, of Marion died at his residence on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at 12:00pm. He was born in Logan West Virginia on January 15, 1949 to James H. and Inez M. (Brummett) Sargent. They preceded him in death. Mr. Sargent married Rita (Hall) Sargent on November 20, 1972 and she survives in Marion.
Mr. Sargent is survived by two sons Dennis Sargent Jr. Marion, Destry Sargent, Marion a daughter Jody Sargent, Marion, two grandchildren Grayson Schwan and Reilly Schwan, two brothers Thomas Sargent, Bob Sargent, three sisters Kathleen Slenker, Ruby Brewer and Doris Welch.
Mr. Sargent was a police officer in West Virginia.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio 1701 Marion-Williamsport Rd. East. Marion, OH 45843. Affordable Cremation Services of Ohio was entrusted with the arrangements.
