Delmar Risch

Delmar Risch age 94 of Marion died at Presidential Center on Mon. Feb. 12, 2018. On Oct. 24, 1923 he was born in Marion to the late William and Eleisia (Utz) Risch. He married Lucille Rasey on Dec. 2, 1945 and she survives in Marion. Surviving are sons Stephen Risch, Marion, Joseph (Janet) Risch, Marion, Ronald (Terri) Risch, Kenton, a daughter Conita Risch, Long Beach, CA, grandchildren Scott (Lorrie) Risch, Matthew Keith Risch, Eric (Paula) Risch and Kimberly (Andrew) Zupfer, 6 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a sister Helen Little, Mansfield. She is preceded in death by a grandson Roger Risch, sisters Louise Pride, Esther Duffy and Lillian Connolly.

Mr. Risch attended Reber and Starner One Room Schools and graduated in 1941 from Morral High School.

He was a member of Prospect St. United Methodist Church, Marion.

Mr. Risch was a farmer in Big Island Twp.

He was charter member of Ridgedale Lions Club and a lifetime member of Meeker Sportsman Club.

A memorial service will held on Sat. Feb. 17, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Prospect St. United Methodist Church with Pastor Theresa Lehman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the church before the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Prospect St. United Methodist Church or Ridgedale Lions Club.
