Debra L. Shaffer

Debra L. Shaffer, 58, of McCuthenville passed away on December 18, 2019 at Ohio Health Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born on April 4, 1961 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Bruce E. Lawrence and Lola (Glispie) Sheward. In August 1988 she married Kenneth W. Shaffer who survives.

She is survived by her children, Chad (Tammy) Shaffer of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Josh Shaffer of Fostoria, Ohio, Kendra (Tom) Giesey of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; her grandchildren, Zach, Alec, and Alexis Shaffer and Isabel Giesey; her brothers, Bryan Lawrence of McCuthenville, Ohio, and Chris (Dawn) Sheward of Minnesota; Her sisters, Robin (Andy)Lucius of Sycamore, Ohio, and Mindy (Matt) Hensley of McCuthenville, Ohio; her Aunt, Opal Johnson of Upper Sandusky, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her stepfather, Gilbert
Sheward and many other family members.

Deb was a former Liquid Box employee of 17 years and a very happy and friendly cashier at various locations. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her 2 fur babies. She truly enjoyed playing with and babysitting her granddaughter, Baby Bel. She was a social bug and never knew a stranger.

A celebration of Life for Deb will be on April 4, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the American Legion Post 250 (Back Community Room) located at 125 South Sycamore Street in Sycamore, Ohio 44882.
