David Anson Woodruff Jr.

David Anson Woodruff Jr., age 69, passed away at Ohio State Hospital May 09, 2023. David was born to the late David Woodruff Sr. and Earlene (Faurot) Woodruff May 27, 1953 in Kenton, Ohio. David married the love of his life, Deborah (Burd) Woodruff, August 9, 1971. David is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Carol Woodruff.
David is survived by wife of 51 years, Deborah Woodruff; children, David (Jackie) Woodruff III of Kenton Ohio, Michelle (Keith) Brown of Kenton, Ohio, Michael (Alyx) Woodruff of Bellefontaine, Ohio; grandchildren, Cedric (Caitlyn) Brown, Laisha Woodruff, Taylor Woodruff, Jayden Brown, Luke Woodruff, Madelyn Woodruff, Brooks Woodruff; as well as 6 great-grandchildren and two special nieces Billie Jo Warner and Amy Marcum of Oklahoma.
David was a graduate of Kenton Senior Highschool. He retired from General Dynamics of Lima as a Welder after 37 years. He was an avid automotive and motorcycle enthusiast. David attended classic car shows, collected classic cars, went on motorcycle rides, loved tinkering on them himself, and enjoyed watching the local drag races. When he wasn’t attending car related events, he enjoyed spending time with his family and going on camping trips. He will be deeply missed, he was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandfather.
