David Wayne Stephens

David Wayne Stephens, 65 of Marion passed away on Saturday September 3,

2022 at home. David was born August 27, 1957 in Kenton to the late Denver and

Audrey Faye (Miller) Stephens. He was married September 28, 1991 to Stella

(Podolski) Stephens who survives. In addition, to his parents, he was preceded in

death by grandson Blake, Uncle Joe Stephens and special little sister, Kokie Lynn.

David is also survived by children Tara Jan Detillion of Grandview and Cory David

Stephens of Marion; grandchildren Colton, Mason, Taylor “Mike”, Jaelynn, Kalib,

Keyareuh (Damion), and Marissa; 2 great grandchildren Bryleigh and Farlee Faye;

brother Gregory (Sue) Stephens of Morral, Ohio, and brother David Stiverson; and

Aunt Darla Hicks of Morral, Aunt Callie Conrad of Columbia City, Indiana, Uncle

Dwayne & Rita Stephens of Marion, Ohio. Along with numerous cousins.

David most recently worked as a Foreman for Blanks Grain Systems. He formerly

had worked at Whirlpool for 16 years. David was a graduate of Ridgedale High

School in 1975. He enjoyed woodworking, gunsmithing, fishing, and hunting.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday September 24, 2022 from
