Daniel B Thacker

Daniel B Thacker, age 71 of Marion, Ohio passed away Oct. 30, 2022, at his home in Marion. He was born March 11, 1951, to the late Hollis Thacker and Doris Davis Thacker in Marion, Ohio.
Daniel is survived by a daughter Kimberly (Greg) Dye, 2 grandchildren, 2 sisters: Barb (Paul) Thompson, and Beverly (Bruce Lehman) Faulkner, several nieces and nephews, and 2 close friends: Jane Roberts and Tyler Morocco. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary Thacker.
Daniel worked as a Roofer in Construction for Mike’s Roofing. He enjoyed playing cards with the family, playing pool, hunting and fishing, and playing sports in his younger years/watching sports in his later years (especially the Cincinnati Bengals and the Ohio State Buckeyes). Daniel had the biggest heart and was always helpful to others. He will be greatly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life Sunday Nov. 6, 2022, from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm at the VFW 1614 Marion Marysville Rd. Marion, Ohio 43302.
