Daniel Lee Ewing, age 62, passed away at Marion General Hospital January 22, 2024. Daniel was born to the late Stanley and Ethel Hageman in Franklin County, OH September 19, 1961. Daniel married Deborah “Miller” Ewing February 12, 1994. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim Ewing, brother-in-law Steve Miller, and his wife's parents Harold and Cletis Miller.
Dan is survived by wife of 29 years, Debbie Ewing; children, Nicholas Ewing of Marion, OH, Adam Williams of Marion, OH, and Andrea Fisher-Parks of Wellston, OH; siblings, Debbie Hamblin, Theresa Ewing, and Ronnie Ewing all of Jackson, Ohio, David (Loretta) Ewing of Cambridge, OH; grandchildren, Tristan and Gabriel Williams; brother and sister in-laws, Walter Hamblin, Jim (Vickie) Mulvane, Karen (David) Shively, Tammy Miller all of Marion, and Pam Cooper of Pomeroy; special cat, Bailey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Dan served in the Navy after High School, then worked for a handful of companies; his early years he was a tree trimmer, but later went on to work with General Castings which became Liberty Casting. He was a Harley rider in his younger years. He loved going to the campground, relaxing, having a beer, and listening/dancing to his favorite Bluegrass music. Dan and Debbie had an annual trip to Amish Country for their anniversary, he will be deeply missed.
