Clairen Russell Oldham, a life-long farmer and resident of LaRue, passed away on July 26, 2021, at Marion General Hospital, at the age of 64. He was born September 26, 1956 in Marion, Ohio to the late James Russell and Lila (Harriman) Oldham. He married his Terri Dear on June 20, 1977.
Clairen is survived by his wife, Terri (Garlinghouse) Oldham; his children Erin (Joshua) Richmond, Amber (Devin) Ventola, Cara (Daniel) Ice, and Stewart (Elizabeth) Oldham; his grandchildren Madeline and George Richmond, Ashton, Aiden, Charlee and Lucca Ventola, Ethan and Cassie Ice, Madison Kruder and Emerie Oldham; his siblings Elaine (Brad) Smith, Lynn (Jan) Oldham, Marna Winslow, Lisa Schwaderer and Kevin (Rebecca) Oldham; and many nieces and nephews.
Clairen was a former Marion County fairboard member and enjoyed many years participating in fair activities with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, visits to the beach, and spending quality time with his family.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 2:00-6:00 p.m at Dry Lane Construction located at 376 Dry Lane Rd. LaRue, OH.
