Christina Marie Wood, 32 of Marion passed away peacefully on Monday August 31, 2020 in Marion General Hospital.
Christina was born on January 17, 1988 in Marysville, Ohio to the late Victor E. Wood and Katheryn A. Gugel. She is survived by her grandmother, Martha Wood of Delaware, her Fiancé, Jason Barnett of Marion, as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Christina was of Catholic faith and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Delaware. She attended Columbus State Community College where she studied Business Administration. She was a member of the Eagles in Delaware. She loved tinkering with electronics like her phone and the phone apps. She enjoyed going out on the town listening to bands, catching a movie, and going to dinner. She loved hanging out with her friends and she and Jason would head over to Savage Anarchy Wrestling to watch the wrestling matches. She lasted worked at McDonald's on Main Street, Taco Bell in Delaware, and was a receptionist at Royalty Trucking LLC.
A Memorial Benefit will be held in her Memory on Saturday September 12, 2020 at the Dead Woods in Caledonia. The Dead Wood is located at 3550 Lyons Road, Caledonia, Ohio 43314 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Please bring a covered dish, a chair and all Memorial Contributions given will be to assist with Cremation Expenses. All are welcomed.
