Charlotte L. Doyle

Charlotte L. Doyle 78, of Marion died at the Marion Manor at 10:30 a.m. on Sat. July 16, 2016. On Nov. 23, 1937 she was born to the late John and Alta Marie (Nixon) Spence. She married James A. Doyle in 1961 and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Mrs. Doyle is survived by two sons Jon S. (Brenda) Doyle, Marion and James W. (Kellie) Doyle, Culpeper, VA, two grandsons James Kiernan Doyle and Jonathan Brendan Doyle. She was preceded in death by a brother Roger D. Spence and a sister Joan Lenhart.
Mrs Doyle retired from Community Med Center/Smith Clinic and from Marion Public Library.
Mrs. Doyle was a part of Science Cafe through Ohio State University, attended LEI programs, and volunteered for Tall Grass Trails. She was a member of Marion Senior Center where she enjoyed taking classes in Tai Chi. Mrs. Doyle also enjoyed doing puzzles, playing the piano and listening to classical music. She was an avid reader.
