Charlene Thompson

Charlene Thompson, age 64, passed away at home surrounded by family July 13, 2023. Charlene was born to the late Clarence William Thompson and Dexie Mayse (Lewis) Thompson June 13, 1959 in Marion Ohio. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Alice Sparling; brothers, Michael Thompson and Clarence “Eugene” Thompson.

Charlene is survived by husband Dennis Thompson; daughter, Sierra Thompson; step-daughter, Denise (Tim Brown) Bassinger; grandchildren, Xavier and Braxton; brother, Tim (Vicki) Thompson; numerous nieces and nephews and fur baby dog molly.

Charlene had worked with GTE in their customer service department. She also worked for a number of years with Abbotts in Marion. Charlene was a graduate of Marion Harding class of ’78. She enjoyed family functions, an avid reader, solving puzzles, and loved spending time with her family.
