Cathie Pearl Swope age 60 of Marion died Fri. October 4, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 28, 1959 in Marion to the late James Mac and Nancy Pearl (Shark) Swope.
She is survived by a sisters Melissa (Dave) Swope Stayner and Melinda (Peter) Bricker Prince, brother Danny Bricker, step mother Kathryn Swope Kuhn, numerous nieces and nephews Noah Watson, Alex Harbolt, Madilyn Weaver, Aiden Blevins, Parker Blevins, Raylynn Blevins, Hannah Blevins, Brittany Watson Blevins, Jennifer Watson, a long-time friend Julie Dawson, and her dog and constant companion, Abby. She was preceded in death by a sister Terri Sue Swope.
Ms. Swope was employed at Marion Industries as a laborer. She enjoyed playing guitar, singing, loved Florida, and OSU football. Cathie was funny and loved by many.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 1 - 3 pm in the American Legion Post 401, 130 East Marion Street, Caledonia, Ohio 43314.
